गाय के मांस पर बैन से 'सेक्युलर' लोग खफा, ट्विटर पर हंगामा

अब महाराष्ट्र में गाय का मांस खरीदना और बेचना अपराध हो गया है. सोमवार को जैसे ही राष्ट्रपति प्रणब मुखर्जी ने 19 साल पुराने कानून पर हस्ताक्षर किए, सोशल मीडिया पर बहस शुरू हो गई. आलम ये रहा कि मंगलवार रात होते होते यह मुद्दा ट्विटर पर ट्रेंड करने लगा. आम जनता से लेकर राजनेता और बॉलीवुड की हस्तियों ने सरकार के इस फैसले पर अपनी राय जाहिर की.

जानवरों के अधिकार के लिए लड़ने वाली संस्था पिपुल फॉर एथनिक ट्रीटमेंट ऑफ एनिमल्स (पेटा) समेत कई लोगों ने इस कानून का समर्थन किया है.
