समाजवादी पार्टी के सांसद अवधेश प्रसाद ने कुंभ मेले के आयोजन पर बड़ा दावा किया है. उन्होंने कहा कि मुलायम सिंह यादव और अखिलेश यादव की सरकारों में कुंभ मेले का आयोजन बेहद भव्य रहा था. तब कुंभ मेले की देश-विदेश में सराहना हुई थी.
