पहाड़ों पर हो रही बारिश का असर मैदानी इलाकों में दिखने लगा है. वाराणसी में गंगा के जलस्तर में बढ़ाव लगातार जारी है. पिछले 24 घंटे में गंगा के जलस्तर में 72 सेंटीमीटर की बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई और ये बढ़ाव लगातार जारी है. 84 घाटों का संपर्क पूरी तरह से कट गया है. वहीं वरुणा नदी के जलस्तर में भी बढ़ाव शुरू हो गया है. तटवर्ती इलाकों में रहने वालों को जिला प्रशासन ने एहतियात बरतने के निर्देश दिए हैं. बृहस्पतिवार को लगातार तीसरे दिन दशाश्वमेध घाट पर गंगा सेवा निधि की ओर से होने वाली आरती का स्थान बदल दिया गया. काशी से कश्मीर तक सैलाब का सितम है. सवाल है कि हर बारिश बर्बादी क्यों? श्वेता सिंह के साथ देखिए ये स्पेशल रिपोर्ट.
