Ahmedabad Serial Blast Case में 14 साल बाद फैसला, 38 को सजा-ए-मौत

अहमदाबाद में जुलाई 2008 में हुए सीरियल बम धमाकों के मामले में 49 दोषियों में से 38 को सजा-ए-मौत दी है. बाकी के 11 दोषियों को उम्र कैद की सज़ा सुनाई है. घटना के 13 साल बाद ये ऐतिहासिक फैसला आया है जहां एक साथ इतनी बड़ी संख्या में दोषियों को फांसी की सजा सुनाई गई है. इस फैसले से पहले केवल राजीव गांधी हत्याकांड के मामले में ही एक साथ 26 लोगों को सजा-ए-मौत सुनाई गई थी. देखें

A special court on Friday, February 18, pronounced 38 of the 49 accused in the 2008 Ahmedabad serial blasts case guilty and awarded death sentences to them. The verdict was delivered online as all the accused joined in from different jails in the country.
