तालिबान को पता था कि पंजशीर में युद्ध लड़ना अपनी मौत को दावत देने जैसा है, तभी तो तालिबान ने नॉर्दर्न अलायंस के सामने बातचीत का प्रस्ताव भेजा था. बात नहीं बनी तो भीषण युद्ध छेड़ दिया, लेकिन पंजशीर की घाटी तालिबान के लिए काल बन गई. तालिबान के साथ पाकिस्तानी सेना ने युद्ध की रणनीति तैयार की, खुफिया एजेंसी ISI को काबुल भेजा गया. पाकिस्तानी सेना के अफसरों ने मोर्चा संभाला और तलिबानी लड़ाकों को कंट्रोल रूम से निर्देश दिए कि पंजशीर में पाकिस्तानी वायु सेना बम बरसाए. बीते दिन तालिबान की मदद करने के लिए पाकिस्तानी वायु सेना ने पंजशीर में ड्रोन से बम गिराए और तो और मिसाइल हमला भी किया. देखें ये वीडियो.
