जहीर खान ने लिया क्रिकेट से संन्यास, क्रिकेटरों ने दी भविष्य की शुभकामनाएं

टीम इंडिया के लिए सालों तक खेलने वाले फास्ट बॉलर जहीर खान ने गुरुवार को इंटरनेशनल और डोमेस्टिक क्रिकेट से संन्यास लेने की घोषणा कर दी. जहीर के संन्यास लेने के बाद टीम इंडिया के पूर्व और मौजूदा क्रिकेटरों ने उन्हें भविष्य के लिए शुभकामनाएं दीं.

2011 वर्ल्ड कप में जहीर भारत के सबसे सफल गेंदबाज थे. जहीर ने उस टूर्नामेंट में 18.76 के औसत से कुल 21 विकेट हासिल किए थे. वह पाकिस्तान के शाहिद अफरीदी के साथ टूर्नामेंट में सबसे अधिक विकेट लेने वाले गेंदबाज रहे थे. महान बल्लेबाज क्रिकेट के भगवान कहे जाने वाले सचिन तेंदुलकर सहित तमाम पूर्व तथा मौजूदा क्रिकेट खिलाड़ियों ने जहीर को याद किया और उन्हें जिंदगी की नई पारी के लिए शुभकामनाएं दीं.

सचिन तेंदुलकर ने जहीर को ऐसा गेंदबाज करार दिया, जो अपनी चतुराई भरी गेंदबाजी से बल्लेबाजों को 'बेबस' कर देते थे. सचिन ने ट्विटर पर लिखा, 'वह सबसे शांत चित्त तेज गेंदबाजों में से एक हैं. वह कई मौकों पर बल्लेबाजों को बेबस कर देते थे. वह हमेशा चुनौतियों के लिए तैयार रहते थे. मुझे यकीन है कि वह अपनी जिंदगी की नई पारी बेहतरीन तरीके से शुरू करेंगे. मैं जहीर को संन्यास के बाद के जीवन के लिए शुभकामनाएं देता हूं.'
