हिमाचल प्रदेश में नॉनस्टॉप बर्फबारी जारी, पानी की जबरदस्त किल्लत

हिमाचल प्रदेश की वादियां भी बर्फ से ढकी है. लगातार गिरती बर्फबारी लोगों को संभलने का मौका नहीं दे रही. पूरे प्रदेश में 200 से ज्यादा सड़कें बंद हैं. हाईवे ठप है,  हिमाचल प्रदेश के मध्यवर्ती और ऊंचाई वाले इलाकों में जबरदस्त बर्फबारी हो रही है. जिसकी वजह से कई नेशनल हाईवे बंद पड़े हैं. ऊपरी हिमाचल का संपर्क कट गया है. पूरा हिमाचल शीतलहर की चपेट में है. कई इलाकों में बिजली, पानी की भी जबरदस्त किल्लत है..पानी के पाइप जम गए हैं. प्रचंड ठंड की वजह से तापमान सामान्य से 6 से 8 डिग्री लुढ़क गया है.

A fresh spell of snow in Himachal Pradesh threw life out of gear on Wednesday with 200 roads, including three national highways, closed for traffic due to slippery roads. Shimla got 10.2cm of snowfall and recorded a low of minus 1 degree Celsius, while the nearby tourist town of Kufri got 45cm of snowfall and shivered at minus 4.4 degrees. The snow hampered traffic on the main Circular Road in Shimla, delaying the supply of daily essentials. The stretch connecting Victory Tunnel to Sanjauli was closed after snowfall overnight.
