Ghazipur: Ganga किनारे सड़ी लाशों का अंबार, केमिकल डाल करना पड़ रहा डिकंपोज

कोरोना महामारी में कई जगहों से शव मिलने के बाद हड़कंप मचा हुआ है. यूपी के गहमर गांव के पास गंगा नदी में दर्जनों लाशें मिली हैं. माना जा रहा है कि ये सभी लाशें कोरोना संक्रमित मरीजों की हैं, जिन्हें श्मशान घाट में जगह ना मिलने या खौफ की वजह से नदी में प्रवाहित कर दिया गया है. मामला प्रकाश में आने के बाद जिला प्रशासन सक्रिय तो हुआ लेकिन गंगा किनारे ही शवों पर केमिकल डाल कर उन्हें डिकंपोज होने के लिए छोड़ कर जिम्मेदारी पूरी कर दी गई.

Amid the COVID-19 surge that is wreaking havoc across India, few unidentified bodies were found floating in river Ganga in Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. The bodies are suspected to be those of Covid-19 patients who were dumped in the river, revealing the scale of Covid emergency in India. Rampage of dead bodies on the banks of the Ganges, chemical decomposition has to be done.
