Indian Air Force Day is celebrated every year on 8 October. Its main purpose is to pay tribute to the Air Force of India and remember their contribution. The transport aircrafts of the Air Force are of great importance. They are effective in transporting soldiers in large numbers to the battlefield. But the biggest role of these planes is in airlift.
