Assam में जमीन को लेकर, दरांग में तनाव, देखें आज सुबह

असम के दरांग जिले में गुरुवार को हुए बवाल में दो लोगों की मौत हुई है. अतिक्रमण हटाने गई पुलिस की स्थानीय लोगों के साथ भिड़ंत हो गई, जिसमें पुलिस फायरिंग में इन लोगों की जान गई. करीब दो दर्जन लोग इस घटना में घायल भी हुए हैं. असम में पिछले कुछ वक्त में इस तरह की हिंसा की ये दूसरी घटना है, पहले मिजोरम के साथ सीमा विवाद के दौरान बवाल दिखा था. असम में हुए इस बवाल को लेकर राजनीतिक बयानबाजी भी हुई. कांग्रेस सांसद राहुल गांधी ने भाजपा पर निशाना साधा. राहुल ने कहा था कि असम में राज्य द्वारा ही आग लगाई जा रही है, वह इस कृत्य की निंदा करते हैं. राहुल गांधी के अलावा अन्य राजनीतिक दलों, स्थानीय नेताओं ने बीजेपी सरकार पर सवाल खड़े किए. ज्यादा जानकारी के लिए देखें आज सुबह.

The situation remains tense in the Dholpur village of Assam after a row erupted over a viral video that showed police personnel and a government-appointed photographer mercilessly beating a villager. The man, who was allegedly opposing an eviction drive, was thrashed and shot at by the police as he ran towards policemen with a stick in hand.
