पीवी सिंधु ने टोक्यो ओलंपिक में इतिहास रच दिया है. उन्होंने कांस्य पदक जीत लिया है. सिंधु ने चीन की बिंगजियाओ को सीधे गेम 21-13, 21-15 से हराकर कांस्य पदक पर कब्जा किया है. पीवी सिंधु ओलंपिक के व्यक्तिगत इवेंट में दो पदक जीतने वाली पहली भारतीय महिला खिलाड़ी बनी हैं. पुरुषों में पहलवान सुशील कुमार (कांस्य- बीजिंग 2008, रजत- लंदन 2012) ने यह कारनामा किया था. बता दें कि वर्ल्ड नंबर-7 सिंधु को इस मुकाबले को जीतने में कोई खास दिक्कत नहीं हुई और उन्होंने महज 52 मिनट में यह मुकाबला अपने नाम कर लिया. ओलंपिक में बेटी के मेडल जीतने के बाद पीवी सिंधु के पिता पीवी रमना मीडिया के सामने आए. वीडियो में देखें पीवी रमना ने माडिया से बातचीत के दौरान क्या कहा.

Sindhu defeated He Bingjiao of China 21-13, 21-15 in the women's singles bronze medal match at the Tokyo Olympics on Sunday, scripting history.
