इसी साल 1 जुलाई को The New York Times ने अपनी आधिकारिक Website पर एक नौकरी के लिए पोस्ट लिखी थी और ये नौकरी South Asia Business Correspondent के लिए थी, जिसमें इस अख़बार ने बताया था कि नौकरी के लिए जो व्यक्ति चुना जाएगा, उसे दिल्ली में रह कर काम करना होगा। इसके साथ ही इस कम्पनी ने इसमें ये भी बताया था कि इस नौकरी के लिए सही उम्मीदवार उसे बताया जो भारत विरोधी लिख सके.
