3 तलाक पर पूर्व जज अब्दुल नज़ीर का फैसला क्यों भुला द‍िया जा रहा?

अगस्त 2017 में जब सुप्रीम कोर्ट के पांच जजों की बेंच ने ट्रिपल तलाक मामले में फैसला सुनाया था, तब तीन जजों ने ट्रिपल तलाक को असंवैधानिक माना था. लेकिन जस्टिस एस. अब्दुल नज़ीर ने कहा था कि वो ट्रिपल तलाक को असंवैधानिक करार नहीं दे सकते. क्योंकि ये काम संसद का है, ना कि न्यायपालिका का.

In August 2017, when a five-judge bench of the Supreme Court gave its verdict in the triple talaq case, three judges considered triple talaq unconstitutional. But Justice S. Abdul Nazir had said that he cannot declare triple talaq unconstitutional, this is the work of the Parliament.
