वर्ष 1871 में आज ही के दिन 'Father of the Computer' कहे जाने वाले चार्ल्स बेबेज का निधन हुआ था. चार्ल्स बेबेज, ब्रिटिश Mathematician और Engineer थे. जिन्होंने दुनिया का पहला Mechanical Computer बनाया था. चार्ल्स बेबेज ने एक ऐसे Mechanical Computing Device का आविष्कार किया था जिसे दुनिया का पहला Automatic Mechanical Calculator कहा जाता है.
