मोटेरा में दुनिया के सबसे बड़े क्रिकेट स्टेडियम नरेंद्र मोदी स्टेडियम का उद्घाटन हो गया है. दुनिया की तमाम सुविधाओं से लैस इस स्टेडियम में एक साथ एक लाख 32 हजार दर्शक मैच का लुत्फ उठा सकते हैं. उद्घाटन के साथ ही यहां इंग्लैंड और भारत के बीच तीसरा टेस्ट मैच खेला जा रहा है. स्टेडियम का उद्घाटन राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने किया इस मौके पर गृहमंत्री अमित शाह, खेल राज्यमंत्री किरण रिजीजू के साथ हॉकी टीम के पूर्व कप्तान धनराज पिल्लै भी मौजूद थे. देखें इस पर क्या बोले अमित शाह.

President Ram Nath Kovind performed ‘bhumi pujan’ inaugurated the newly revamped Motera Stadium ahead of the start of the Day-Night Test between India and England. Home Minister Amit Shah, BCCI secretary Jay Shah and Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju were also present at the inauguration ceremony of the world’s largest cricket stadium. Speaking on the occasion, Amit Shah highlighted the key features of the Motera stadium. “Coupled with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave & Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, a sports complex will also be built-in Naranpura. These 3 will be equipped to host any international sports event. Ahmedabad to be known as the ‘sports city’ of India,” Amit Shah said.
