यूक्रेन और रूस दोनों प्रोपगेंडा वॉर में भी एक-दूसरे से आगे निकलने में लगे हैं. दोनों देश दावा कर रहे हैं कि उनका तो बाल भी बांका नहीं हुआ लेकिन दुश्मन देश में तबाही मची है. सवाल है कि इस युद्ध में अब तक हुई मौत का सही आंकडा क्या है. रूस और यूक्रेन के इस बारे में भी अपने-अपने दावे हैं. यूक्रेन की मानें तो इस युद्ध में रूस के 19 हजार से ज्यादा जवान मारे गए हैं. उधर रूस ने इतना तो माना है कि उसे भी इस लड़ाई में भारी नुकसान हुआ है. 25 मार्च को ब्रिटिश चैनल स्काई न्यूज को दिए इंटरव्यू में राष्ट्रपति के प्रवक्ता ने माना था कि उसके 1351 जवानों की जान चली गई है.
