अगस्त 5, 2019 को मोदी सरकार ने ऐतिहासिक फैसला लेते हुए अनुच्छेद 370 और 35 ए को हटा दिया. यानि कि जम्मू-कश्मीर से स्पेशल स्टेटस को खत्म कर दिया. और आज जम्मू-कश्मीर का विशेष दर्जा खत्म हुए दो साल पूरे हो गए हैं. दो साल में जम्मू-कश्मीर में बहुत कुछ बदला. लेकिन, अगर कुछ साफ दिख रहा है तो वो यही है कि हालात उस हद तक नहीं पहुचा है. जिसकी कल्पना मोदी सरकार ने की थी. और जिसका आश्वासन केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री के साथ-साथ प्रधानमंत्री ने जम्मू-कश्मीर के लिए दिया था. घाटी में अनुच्छेद 370 के हटाए जाने के दो साल पूरे होने पर, कुछ पार्टियां जश्न मना रही है तो कई क्षेत्रीय दल की नाराजगी जस की तस है. देखें वीडियो.
It's been two years of abrogation of Jammu and Kashmir special status. In 2019, Modi Government takes a historic decision to abrogate Article 370. Prime Minister and Union Home Minister assures that peace will come within four months of span, and development will take place. But, since two years of abrogation, some parties are celebrating it. And, most of the regional parties remain displeased with the decision. Protests were held by the local leaders on the second anniversary of the nullification of Article 370.
