लखीमपुर की लड़ाई अब दिल्ली तक आ गई है. राहुल गांधी की अगुवाई में कांग्रेस का एक प्रतिनिधि मंडल राष्ट्रपति से मिला. कांग्रेस ने महामहिम को ज्ञापन देकर केंद्रीय मंत्री अजय मिश्र को हटाने की मांग रखी. कांग्रेस ने कहा कि जब आरोपी के पिता मंत्री हैं तो न्याय नहीं मिल सकता है. कांग्रेस की ओर से राहुल गांधी ने राष्ट्रपति से कहा कि पीड़ितों को तब तक न्याय नहीं मिलेगा जब तक मुख्य आरोपी के पिता और केंद्रीय मंत्री अजय मिश्र अपने पद पर बने रहते हैं. कांग्रेस राष्ट्रपित से दो बड़ी मांगे की. पहली मांग रखी कि केंद्रीय मंत्री अजय मिश्र को हटाया जाए और दूसरी मांग रखी कि लखीमपुर कांड की स्वतंत्र न्यायिक जांच हो. देखिए ये रिपोर्ट.
