आज पश्चिम बंगाल की 44 सीटों पर मतदान हुआ. लेकिन ये मतदान अपने साथ बंगाल की सियासत में खून के दाग छोड़ गया. कोच बिहार में हुई हिंसा में 4 लोगों की जान चली गई. वहीं हावड़ा में हिंसक झड़प की हैरान करने वाली तस्वीरें सामने आई. आपको चौथे चरण के मतदान में हिंसा की लपटें खूब देखी गईं. कोच बिहार सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित रहा. कूचबिहार में हुई हिंसा ने बंगाल की सियासत को हिलाकर रख दिया. टीएमसी और बीजेपी में आर-पार की जंग शुरू हो गई. सुरक्षा बलों पर लगातार सवाल खड़ी कर रही ममता ने अब सीधे अमित शाह के इस्तीफे की मांग कर रही हैं. वहीं बीजेपी ने एक बार फिर टीएमसी को घेरना शुरू कर दिया है. देखें शंखनाद, चित्रा त्रिपाठी के साथ.
A voter turnout of 76 per cent was witnessed during polling in phase 4 on 44 assembly seats of West Bengal today. However the polling day also saw violence which claimed sevral lives. At leats four people were killed as CISF personnel allegedly opened fire after coming under attack from locals outside a polling booth in West Bengal's Cooch Behar district on Saturday. BJP and TMC both parties are blaming each other for the violence. The Trinamool Congress is demanding Union Home Minister Amit Shah's resignation over the incident in Sitalkuchi.
