पिछले 24 घंटे में दिल्ली में कोरोना के नए मामले सामने आए हैं. वहीं लोगों ने दम तोड़ दिया है. इनमें 72 साल के कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता अशोक कुमार वालिया भी शामिल हैं. डॉ. वालिया के निधन पर सभी दलों के नेताओं ने शोक जताया है. वहीं सीपीएम महासचिव सीताराम येचुरी ने कोरोना की वजह से अपने बड़े बेटे आशीष येचुरी को खो दिया. येचुरी ने ट्वीट कर बताया, "भारी दुख के साथ सूचित कर रहा हूं कि मैंने कोविड-19 की वजह से आज सुबह अपने बड़े बेटे आशीष येचुरी को खो दिया. मैं उन सभी का शुक्रिया अदा करता हूं जिन्होंने हमें उम्मीद दी और उसका इलाज किया- डॉक्टर, नर्स, फ्रंटलाइन हेल्थ वर्कर, सैनिटेशन वर्कर और तमाम लोग जो हमारे साथ खड़े रहे."
Ashish Yechury, the elder son of CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury died due to Covid-19 on Thursday morning.Sitaram Yechury took to Twitter to announce the news. "It is with great sadness that I have to inform that I lost my elder son, Ashish Yechury to Covid-19 this morning. I want to thank all those who gave us hope and who treated him - doctors, nurses, frontline health workers, sanitation workers and innumerable others who stood by us," he wrote on Twitter.
