देश के सबसे सुरक्षित माने जाने वाले तिहाड़ जेल से एक कैदी 26 अगस्त को रक्षाबंधन के दिन फ़रार हो गया था. इसका खुलासा तब हुआ जब शाम के वक्त सेमी ओपन जेल के कैदियों की गिनती हुई. एक कैदी कम निकलने पर जेल प्रशासन में हड़कंप मच गया. इसके बाद इसकी सूचना पुलिस को दी गई. हाईलेवल जांच बैठा दी गई. कैदी को ढूंढने पुलिस दल निकला भी, लेकिन इस बीच कैदी वापस लौटकर जेल आ गया.
