एक बार फिर बीफ पर विवाद गहरा गया. बीएचयू के दुग्ध विज्ञान के प्रश्न पत्र में बीफ को लेकर कुछ ऐसे सवाल पूछे गए कि बवाल हो गया. बनारस हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय के खाद्य प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग के दुग्ध विज्ञान के प्रश्न पत्र में तीन सवाल पूछे गए. ये सवाल सामने आए, तो छात्रों का एक धड़ा भड़क उठा, छात्रों ने सवाल उठाए कि जिन पंडित मदन मोहन मालवीय ने काशी हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना की, जिन्होंने विश्वविद्यालय समेत अलग अलग जगहों पर गौशालाएं बनवाई, उनके विश्वविद्यालय में ये अनर्थ क्यों हो रहा है. देखें शंखनाद.
