आजतक के शो 'ब्लैक एंड व्हाइट' में मोटरसाइकिल के उस सफर का विश्लेषण किया गया गै जिसमें 137 साल में हम सड़क पर चलने वाली पहली बाइक से हवा में उड़ने वाली बाइक तक आ गए हैं. मोटरसाइकिल के आविष्कार का विचार साइकिल से ही आया था. दुनिया की पहली बाइक जर्मनी में वर्ष 1885 में बनाई गई थी. इसे वैज्ञानिक Gottlieb Daimler (गॉटलिब डेमलर) और Wilhelm Maybach (विल्हेम मेबैक) ने बनाया था. इसमें साइकिल की तरह ही हैंडल लगे हुए थे. इसकी रफ्तार 11 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की थी, इसमें एक खास तरह का combustion(कंबूसन) इंजन लगा था. देखें ये वीडियो.
