दीपिका ने पूछा, 'मैं महिला हूं, मेरे ब्रेस्ट हैं, आपको प्रॉब्लम?'

बॉलीवुड एक्ट्रेस दीपिका पादुकोण सार्वजनिक कार्यक्रमों में अकसर शांत और मुस्कुराती हुई नजर आती हैं. मुस्कुराते हुए ही वह पत्रकारों के असहज करने वाले सवालों का भी जवाब दे जाती हैं. लेकिन रविवार को एक प्रतिष्ठित अंग्रेजी अखबार की फूहड़ 'खबर' का ट्विटर पर उन्होंने ऐसा जवाब दिया कि पढ़ने वाले उनके प्रति सम्मान से भर उठे.

उस 'अपमानजनक' खबर के लिए अखबार को बैकफुट पर आना पड़ा और वह पोस्ट डिलीट करनी पड़ी. अखबार ने सफाई देते कहा कि वह दीपिका को कॉम्प्लिमेंट दे रहा था, लेकिन इसका गलत मतलब निकाला गया. हालांकि यह सफाई दीपिका का समर्थन कर रहे लोगों को हजम नहीं हुई और उन्होंने इसकी भी खिंचाई शुरू कर दी. खबर लिखे जाने तक #IStandWithDeepikaPadukone ट्विटर पर टॉप ट्रेंड था और इसके साथ करीब 18 हजार ट्वीट किए जा चुके थे.

दरअसल हुआ यह कि एक प्रमुख अंग्रेजी अखबार ने दीपिका पादुकोण के बारे में एक 'वीडियो खबर' का लिंक ट्विटर पर साझा किया. इसमें लिखा था, 'ओएमजी (ओह माय गॉड), दीपिका पादुकोण का क्लीवेज शो.' दीपिका ने इस पोस्ट का स्क्रीनशॉट ले लिया और फिर जवाब देते हुए ट्विटर पर लिखा, 'हां मैं महिला हूं. मेरी ब्रेस्ट है, मेरी क्लीवेज है. आपको प्रॉब्लम?' एक और ट्वीट में उन्होंने लिखा, 'आप महिलाओं की इज्जत करना नहीं जानते तो महिला सशक्तिकरण की बात मत कीजिए.' याद रहे कि अपनी नई फिल्म के प्रचार के लिए दीपिका ने अपने ट्विटर हैंडल का नाम 'फाइंडिंग फैनी' कर रखा है.

इन ट्वीट्स के रिट्वीट का सिलसिला शुरू हो गया. पूरा बॉलीवुड और ट्विटर समाज दीपिका के समर्थन में उतर आया और उनके पक्ष में जमकर ट्वीट किए. दीपिका ने भी उन ट्वीट्स को रिट्वीट किया. चौतरफा दबाव देख अंग्रेजी अखबार को न सिर्फ वह पोस्ट डिलीट करनी पड़ी बल्कि सफाई भी देनी पड़ी. अखबार ने ट्वीट करके कहा कि वह दीपिका को कॉम्प्लिमेंट देना चाह रहा था. लेकिन इस ट्वीट का असर भी उल्टा ही हुआ. लोगों ने 'कॉम्प्लिमेंट के इस तरीके' पर सवाल उठाने शुरू कर दिए.
