कोविशील्ड, कोवैक्सीन और स्पूतनिक वी के बाद मॉडर्ना भारत की चौथी वैक्सीन है. मॉडर्ना को भारत के लिए खरीदने का अधिकार दवा कंपनी सिप्ला के पास है. लेकिन सिप्ला भारत में मॉडर्ना को लेकर आए, उससे पहले WHO की कोवैक्स पहल के तहत अमेरिका से ये वैक्सीन भारत पहुंचने वाली है और ये उपलब्धता अगले 2-3 दिनों में हो सकती है. इधर भारत में मॉडर्ना की वैक्सीन जल्द मिलने की संभावना के बीच सरकार उनके वितरण की तैयारी में जुटी है. मॉडर्ना की वैक्सीन भारत में काफी कारगर हो सकती है, क्योंकि लैब रिपोर्ट में ये डेल्टा वैरिएंट पर असरदार पायी गई थी. देखें ये रिपोर्ट.
Moderna is India's fourth vaccine after Covishield, Covaxin and Sputnik V. Pharmaceutical company Cipla has got the right to buy Moderna for India. But before that this vaccine is about to reach India from the US under WHO's Covax initiative.
