The Supreme court yesterday asked Utter Pradesh government to immediately release freelance journalist Prashant Kanojia. The top court also asked the government why was journalist Prashant Kanojia arrested and under what provisions. Now another journalist in Shamli was beaten up on camera by GRP personnel led by SHO Rakesh Kumar. When the video Went viral, SHO Rakesh Kumar and constable Sunil Kumar were suspended.
