2019 लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले नेताओं के आरोप-प्रत्यारोप का दौर चरम पर है. एक दूसरे को निशाना बनाने के लिए नेता कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ रहे. यह चुनाव सुरक्षा, बेरोजगारी, स्वछता जैसे मुद्दों पर न होकर 'मैं भी चौकादीर हूं' और 'चौकीदार चोर है' पर चल रहा है. पीएम मोदी की सबसे बड़ी खासियात यह रही है कि जो मुद्दा विपक्ष के पास होता है, वह उसे अपने पक्ष में कर लेते हैं. राहुल गांधी की 'चौकीदार चोर है' का नारा क्या रंग लाएगा, ये तो वक्त ही बताएगा. लेकिन सोशल मीडिया पर मैं भी चौकीदार हूं छा रहा है. मैं भी चौकीदार हूं, देश के विकास का मैं भी भागीदार हूं. इस तरह की पंक्तियों से बीजेपी एक इमोशनल फीलिंग चौकीदारों के प्रति जोड़कर इसे वोट में तब्दील करना चाहती है और विपक्ष के 'चौकीदार चोर है' के नारे की हवा निकालने में जुटी है.
