पेट्रोल और डीजल की कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी के खिलाफ सोमवार को पूरा भारत बंद रहा. इस बंद को 21 दलों ने अपना समर्थन दिया था. इस बंद के सहारे कांग्रेस एक तीर से दो निशाने साधती नजर आई. एक तरफ उसने मोदी सरकार को महंगाई पर घेरा तो दूसरी तरफ 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए अपनी अगुआई में महागठबंधन की एकता को दिखाने की भी भरपूर कोशिश की.
