कोविड संक्रमण में उछाल के बाद आज से देश में प्रिकॉशन डोज की शुरुआत हो रही है. स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों, फ्रंटलाइन वर्कर्स और 60 साल से ज्यादा उम्र के लोग ही फिलहाल प्रिकॉशन डोज लगवा पाएंगे. इसकी शुरुआत हेल्थकेयर वर्कर और फ्रंटलाइन वर्कर के अलावा 60 साल से ऊपर के बुजुर्गों से होगी. देश में करीब 1 करोड़ हेल्थ वर्कर्स और 2 करोड़ फ्रंटलाइन वकर्स हैं इसके अलावा 60 साल से ऊपर के लोगों की संख्या लगभग 13 करोड़ हैं. इस हिसाब से देश में 16 करोड़ बूस्टर डोज़ की ज़रूरत होने वाली है. बूस्टर डोज लेने वाले लोगों के लिए सबसे ज़रूरी जानकारी ये है कि जो लोग कोविन एप पर रजिस्ट्रेशन नहीं कर पाये हैं वो वे सीधे किसी भी कोविड टीकाकरण केंद्र पर जाकर टीका लगवा सकते हैं. देखें ये एपिसोड.
