भारत-चीन बॉर्डर पर दुनिया की सबसे ऊंची हवाई पट्टी दौलत बेग ओल्डी और लद्दाख में दुरबुक के बीच भारतीय सेना के लिए रणनीतिक महत्व रखने वाले रिनचेन ब्रिज का आज रक्षामंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने उद्घाटन किया है. ये पुल श्योक नदी पर 14 हजार 650 फीट की ऊंचाई पर बनाया गया है. ये ब्रिज 1400 फीट लंबा है. इसके शुरू हो जाने से भारतीय सैनिकों को चीन सीमा तक पहुंचने में लगने वाला वक्त कम हो जाएगा.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated a strategic bridge named after Colonel Chewang Rinchen on Shyok River. The bridge has been constructed at an altitude of 14650 feet in the forward area of Ladakh region. This bridge has been built by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO).
