चुनाव के बीच छत्तीसगढ़ में नक्सलियों के हमले को सुरक्षाबलों ने नाकाम कर दिया. बीजापुर में नक्सलियों और सुरक्षाबलों के बीच जमकर मुठभेड़ हुई. जिसमें कोबरा के 5 जवाब जख्मी हो गए. वहीं 4 से पांच नक्सलियों के मारे जाने की खबर है. कल इसी इलाके में नक्सलियों हमला किया था. इस बीच नक्सलियों को स्थानीय लोगों ने करारा जवाब दिया है और छत्तीसगढ़ में वोटिंग को लेकर जबरदस्त उत्साह देखने को मिल रहा है. 3 बजे तक करीब 48 फीसदी वोट डाले जा चुके हैं. बूथ पर लंबी कतारें देखी जा रहे हैं.
Polling for all 18 seats in the first phase of Chhattisgarh assembly elections has ended amid tight security. Earlier in the day an encounter broke between security forces and maoists in Bijapur district. Where security forces gunned down five naxals while three personnel of elite Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) battalion were injured. All the CoBRA personnel are out danger.
