उत्तराखंड के चमोली में तपोवन स्थित सुरंग के अंदर फंसे लोगों को बचाने का काम युद्धस्तर पर चल रहा है. इस दौरान चमोली में इंडियन नेवी के कमांडो की टीम भी पहुंच चुकी है. इन्हें मार्कोस के नाम से भी जाना जाता है. भारतीय नौसेना की यह टीम अभी स्थितियों का मुआयना कर रही है. इसके बाद वह टनल के अंदर जाने के प्रयास करेगी. वहीं, अब तक भारतीय सेना, आईटीबीपी और एनडीआरएफ के जवान कई बार सुरंग के अंदर जाने का प्रयास कर चुके हैं, लेकिन उन्हें सफलता नहीं मिल पाई है. ऐसे में अब इस काम को अंजाम देने के लिए भारतीय नौसेना का मदद ली जा रही है. देखें रिपोर्ट.
Indian Navy Marine commandos and a team of divers has arrived at Tapovan to carry out a rescue operation inside a tunnel. Specialised equipment will be used to rescue people stranded inside the tunnel. It has also been reported that the water level inside the tunnel is rising.
