उत्तर प्रदेश के लखीमपुर में हुई हिंसा का मामला देश के सर्वोच्च न्यायालय तक पहुंच गया है. इस मामले में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने यूपी सरकार से 24 घंटे के अंदर स्टेटस रिपोर्ट दाखिल करने को कहा है- यानी कितने आरोपी हैं,किसके खिलाफ एफआईआर दर्ज की गई है और किन्हें गिरफ्तार किया गया है. लखीमपुर में योगी सरकार के लिए संकटमोचक बने राकेश टिकैत ने मध्यस्थता को लेकर खुद पर उठ रहे सवालों का जवाब दिया है. टिकैत ने कहा समझौता के पीछे सिर्फ उनका रोल नहीं था बल्कि समझौता परिवार वालों की सहमती से हुआ. देखें वीडियो.
