चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री के तौर पर चुन लिए गए हैं. चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी दलित समुदाय से आते हैं. कांग्रेस हाईकमान ने सोचा था कि दलित समुदाय के चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी को पंजाब का मुख्यमंत्री बनाकर उसने दलित वोटों के लिहाज से मास्टरस्ट्रोक खेला है. राहुल गांधी से लेकर रणदीप सुरजेवाला इसे भुनाने के संकेत भी दे चुके थे. मगर उनके इस मास्टरस्ट्रोक को अभी कुछ ही घंटे हुए थे कि तीन साल पुराना MeToo का एक केस चन्नी के गले पड़ गया है. बीजेपी आईटी सेल के मुखिया अमित मालवीय ने ट्वीट किया है. वहीं चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी का पंजाब के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री कैप्टन अमरिंदर से 36 का आंकड़ा रहा है और चन्नी के सीएम बनने पर भड़क गया विपक्ष. देखें ये वीडियो.
