हिंदुत्व की तुलना आईएसआईएस से कर फंसे सलमान खुर्शीद का महबूबा मुफ्ती ने समर्थन कर दिया है. महबूबा मुफ्ती ने कहा है कि सांप्रदायिक दलों की तुलना आतंकी संगठनों से ही होनी चाहिए. महबूबा मुफ्ती पहली ऐसी नेता हैं जो खुलकर सलमान खुर्शीद के समर्थन में खड़ी हुई हैं. महबूबा के समर्थन से शायद सलमान खुर्शीद थोड़े राहत में आए हों लेकिन उनकी किताब पर विवादों का सिलसिला जारी है. भोपाल, मुंबई के बाद अब मेरठ में भी किताब का भरपूर विरोध हो रहा है. हिंदू सेना सड़कों पर उतर आई है और उसने कोर्ट का दरवाजा भी खटखटा दिया है.
