समाजवादी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता आजम खान 27 महीने बाद जेल से रिहा हो गए. आजम खान यूपी की सीतापुर जेल में बंद थे. प्रगतिशील समाजवादी पार्टी के अध्यक्ष शिवपाल यादव, आजम खान के दोनों बेटे अब्दुल्ला और अदीब उन्हें लेने के लिए सीतापुर जेल पहुंचे. आजम खान को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने 19 मई को अंतरिम जमानत दे दी थी लेकिन रिहाई के आदेश की सर्टिफाइड कॉपी जेल तक नहीं पहुंच पाई थी, इसलिए वो गुरुवार को रिहा नहीं हो पाए थे. आजम खान की रिहाई के बाद शिवपाल यादव ने कहा कि ये न्याय की जीत है, आजम खान की जीत है, हम लोग समाजवादी हैं, हमेशा नेता जी से सीखा है कि सुख दुख में साथ रहना. देखें राजनीति से जुड़ी खबरें.
