अफगानिस्तान पर अब पूरी तरह से तालिबान का कब्ज़ा हो गया है. आम लोग अपनी जान बचाने में जुटे हैं, जो बाहर जा सकते हैं वो देश छोड़ रहे हैं. इस बीच सबसे बड़ा खतरा नाबालिग लड़कियों, युवाओं और अन्य लोगों पर है. बीते दिनों से ही जब से तालिबानी लड़ाकों ने काबुल की ओर बढ़ना शुरू किया था, तब ये लगातार खबरें आ रही थीं कि तालिबानी लड़ाकों द्वारा नाबालिग लड़कियों की जबरन शादी करवाई जा रही है. तालिबानियों का आतंक इतना ज्यादा बढ़ गया है कि अफगान लड़कियों और महिलाओं का रहना मुश्किल हो गया है. अफगानिस्तान से भारत आईं मरियम ने आजतक को सुनाई तालिबान के जुल्म की कहानी. मरियम ने बताया कि तालिबान ने जो कहा कि महिलाओं को डरने की जरुरत नहीं है और उनके साथ कुछ गलत नहीं होगा वो सब झूठ है. वहां तालिबान का आतंक बढ़ता जा रहा है, जो सरकारी लोग हैं उनका गला काट दिया जाता है और बूढ़े तालिबान आतंकियों से नाबालिग अफगान लड़कियों की जबरन शादी करवाई जा रही है. देखें आगे क्या बोलीं मरियम.
