रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने बुधवार को चीन विवाद को लेकर बयान दिया. राजनाथ सिंह का कहना है कि चीन के साथ लद्दाख सीमा पर जारी विवाद का अभी कोई ठोस निष्कर्ष नहीं निकला है, ऐसे में यथास्थिति बनी हुई है. रक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि चीन के साथ बातचीत का सिलसिला जारी है, जल्द ही सैन्य लेवल की एक और चर्चा होनी है. हालांकि, अभी तक जो भी चर्चा हुई है उसका कोई नतीजा नहीं निकला है, अभी यथास्थिति बनी हुई है लेकिन वो भी सही नहीं है. राजनाथ ने कहा कि अगर कोई देश विस्तारवाद की नीति अपनाता है, तो भारत के पास उतनी ताकत है कि वो उसे अपनी जमीन में रुकने से रोक सके.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said talks between India and China over the prolonged Ladakh standoff is still underway but with no success achieved. The minister also observed that there is status quo and it is not a positive development. The defence minister made it clear that India will not be reducing the Army deployment at the Ladakh borders and said that China is also likely to not reduce the deployment.
