प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी रविवार को 'मन की बात' के जरिए देश को संबोधित किया. ये 81वां एपिसोड था. आज 'वर्ल्ड रिवर डे' भी है, इसलिए पीएम मोदी ने अपने कार्यक्रम में नदियों के महत्व के बारे में बताया. पीएम मोदी ने कहा, 'नदी हमारे लिए भौतिक वस्तु नहीं, बल्कि जीवंत इकाई है. पीएम मोदी ने 'आर्थिक स्वच्छता' का भी जिक्र किया. उन्होंने कहा, 'ये बात सही है आर्थिक स्वच्छता में टेक्नोलॉजी बहुत मदद कर सकती है. हमारे लिए ख़ुशी की बात है आज गांव-देहात में भी यूपीआई से डिजिटल लेन-देन बढ़ रहा है.' उन्होंने बताया कि एक महीने में यूपीआई से 355 करोड़ ट्रांजेक्शन हुए हैं. उन्होंने बताया, 'आज औसतन 6 लाख करोड़ रुपये से ज्यादा का डिजिटल पेमेंट यूपीआई से हो रहा है. इससे देश की अर्थव्यवस्था में स्वच्छता, पारदर्शिता आ रही है.' देखें ये वीडियो.
