पहाड़ों से मैदान तक बादल बेकाबू हैं. जोरदार बारिश के बाद कोलकाता में जबरदस्त सैलाब मचा हुआ है. रात भर हुई बारिश के बाद पूरा का पूरा शहर ताल-तलैया बन गया है. सड़कें डूबी हुई हैं और कई इलाकों में घुटनों तक पानी भरा है और मुसीबत की इस मार के बीच लोग गाड़ियों को धक्का देकर पानी से पार निकालने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं. बारिश ऐसी आफत लेकर आई है कि कोलकाता के लोगों की जिंदगी मानो लहरों के बीच ही कैद हो गई है. मुर्शिदाबाद, बीरभूम, बाकुड़ा जिलों में बादल टूट कर बरसे लेकिन बारिश के इस सितम ने सबसे बुरा हाल राजधानी कोलकाता कर दिया है. देखिए कोलकाता में हाहाकार की तस्वीरें.
At least eight people died and 17 have gone missing after a cloudburst hit a remote village in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. As a result, the water level of the Chenab river has increased in the Reasi district. Hence, the gates of Salal Dam have been opened, informed the officials. The cloudburst incident, due to which 17 people were injured, took place on Wednesday morning at Honzar village of Dacchan tehsil in Kishtwar. Most parts of the Jammu region have been receiving heavy rain for the past few days. With the prediction of more rains till July-end, authorities in Kishtwar have asked people living along water bodies and slide-prone areas to remain vigilant. Watch this video.
