भारतीय एथलीट नीरज चोपड़ा ने आज भारत के लिए पहला गोल्ड जीता. कुल मिला कर भारत के पास अब 7 पदक हैं लेकिन ये पहला गोल्ड मेडल है जिसने भारत का मान बढ़ाया है. नीरज ने जेवलिन थ्रो में देश का नाम ऊंचा किया है. देश भर में जश्न का माहौल है, सरहद पर खड़े इंडियन आर्मी के जवानों ने भी भारत के इस जीत पर खुशी जाहिर की. हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर ने आजतक से खास बातचीत में नीरज को और देश को बधाई दी और कहा कि उन्हें उम्मीद थी की नीरज आज गोल्ड लेकर आएंगे. देखें वीडियो.
