चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी पंजाब के नए मुख्यमंत्री बन गए हैं. आज दो डिप्टी सीएम - ओपी सोनी और सुखजिंदर रंधावा के साथ, चन्नी ने सीएम पद की शपथ ली. इसी के साथ चन्नी पंजाब के पहले दलित मुख्यमंत्री बन गए हैं. इसे लेकर भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने भी कांग्रेस पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि चन्नी को सिद्धू के मोहरे के तौर पर कुर्सी दी गयी है, ये दलितों का अपमान है. उधर बीएसपी अध्यक्ष मायावती ने प्रेस कांफ्रेंस कर कांग्रेस को घेरा है. मायावती ने कहा कि पंजाब में नया सीएम सिर्फ चुनावी हथकंडा है. मायावती ने कहा कि दलित को पंजाब का सीएम तो बनाया गया है लेकिन कांग्रेस चुनाव तो गैर-दलित की अगुवाई में ही लड़ेगी. अब सबसे बड़ा सवाल है कि क्या वाकई में कांग्रेस चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी के बहाने दलित वोट साध रही है?
