बिहार और उत्तर प्रदेश में सेना में भर्ती की अग्निपथ योजना के खिलाफ विरोध-प्रदर्शन जारी है. युवा सड़कों पर हैं. अग्निपथ योजना पर भड़के विरोध और हंगामे के बीच केंद्र सरकार ने थोड़ी रियायत का एलान किया है. गृह मंत्रालय ने असम राइफल्स और CAPF में अग्निवीरों के लिए 10 फीसदी आरक्षण का ऐलान किया है. मंत्रालय की ओर से ये भी कहा गया है कि चार साल की सेवा पूरी कर चुके अग्निवीरों को अधिकतम आयु की सीमा में भी तीन साल की छूट दी जाएगी. पहले बैच के अग्निवीरों के लिए छूट की ये सीमा 5 साल रहेगी. ज्यादा जानकारी के लिए देखें ये वीडियो.
Amid the ongoing protest against Agnipath scheme, Union Home Ministry has announced reservation of 10 per cent vacancies for recruitment in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Assam Rifles for Agniveers.
