एक गाय है, जिसको लेकर इतनी हाय-हाय है. गाय को हमारे देश में पूजा जाता है लेकिन जिस पशु के लिए इतना सम्मान है, इतना आदर है, क्या कभी उसकी हाय शासन-प्रशासन ने सुनने की कोशिश की है? बीते दशकों में गायों की देखभाल के लिए सरकार ने गोशालाएं बना दीं, मान्यता दे दी खर्चा भी बांध दिया. लेकिन जो मामूली खर्चा तय किया उसे भी देने में सालों लगा दिए जाते हैं. ऐसे में इन गोशालाओं में गायों की देखभाल बेहद चुनौती भरा काम हो जाता है.
