बॉक्सिंग की दुनिया में मुहम्मद अली को महानतम बॉक्सर के तौर पर याद किया जाता है. उनके जीवन में भी कई उतार चढ़ाव आए. एक समय ऐसा आया था कि लोगों को लगा उनका बॉक्सिंग करियर खत्म हो जाएगा. अली ने 25 फरवरी 1964 को वर्ल्ड हैवीवेट चैंपियनशिप अपने नाम किया. ऐसा करने वाले वह सबसे कम उम्र के बॉक्सर थे. वहीं 1967 में अमेरिका-वियतनाम युद्ध के दौरान उन्होंने अमेरिकी सेना की सेवा करने से मना कर दिया था. इससे अलावा उस दौरान उन्होंने अश्वेत नागरिकों के अधिकारों के लिए भी अवाज भी उठाया था. देखें यह वीडियो.
