फूफी की साज‍िश से र‍िहाई तक की कहानी, ओन‍िबा और शरीक की जुबानी

6 जुलाई 2019 को ओनिबा और शरीक बैंगलुरू से चार दिन के लिए क़तर गए थे, हनीमून ट्रिप पर और इस हनीमून ट्रिप का इंतज़ाम किया था, शरीक की फूफी तबस्सुम ने लेकिन तबस्सुम ने अपने ही भतीजे को धोखा दिया. हनीमून ट्रिप के नाम पर उसके बैग में चार किलो ड्रग्स रख दिया, ये कह कर ये ज़र्दा है, यानी पान मसाला. लेकिन दोहा एयरपोर्ट पर ड्रग्स का सच सामने आ गया और ओनिबा और शरीक पकड़े गए. चार दिन का उनका सफ़र अब दस साल की क़ैद में तब्दील हो चुका था. वो चार दिन ओनिबा और शरीक शायद ही अब कभी भूल पाएंगे. देखें

Mumbai-based couple Oniba and Sharique Qureshi, who was sentenced to 10 years in jail in a drug case in Qatar in 2019, returned to the city with their minor daughter after they were cleared of charges against them. A NCB official said the couple landed at the Mumbai airport at 2.30 am. The couple had been cleared of all charges after it came to light that a relative planted narcotics in their bag without their knowledge.
