Prime Minister Narendra Modi led his Bharatiya Janata Party to a massive victory for a second term in office. The Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) has achieved the rare feat of returning to power at the Centre with an even bigger majority. The BJP has secured victory on 348 seats taking its total tally well above the halfway mark at 272. While PM Modi and Amit Shah give credit of the massive victory to BJP workers, the party cadres held the winning duo responsible for it. In 2014, BJP had scored on 282 on its own. This year, it may storm to victory on 302. With an established majority in Rajya Sabha, the Modi government is looking at an easy sail through the next five years of policy making.
