पेट्रोल-डीजल की बढ़ती कीमतों और महंगाई के खिलाफ आज कांग्रेस की ओर से बुलाए गए बंद का असर पूरे देश में देखा गया. गुजरात के अहमदाबाद में सड़कों पर राेज के मुकाबले काफी कम गाड़ियां और लोग दिखाई दिए. वहीं स्कूल भी बंद थे. दुकानें बंद होने से बाजारों में कोई कारोबार नहीं हुआ. प्रशासन ने एहतियातन सुरक्षाबलों की टुकड़ियां तैयार रखी हैं.
