सोमवार यानी 31 अक्टूबर को देश लौह पुरुष सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल की 147 वीं जयंती मना रहा है. सरदार पटेल को भौगोलिक स्वरूप के निर्माता के रुप में भी जाना जाता है. उन्होंने 1928 में बारडोली सत्याग्रह का नेतृत्व किया था. ब्रिटिश की बढे हुए राजस्व की मांगों का विरोध किया. इसके लिए उन्होंने किसानों को संगठित किया.
