चुनाव आयोग ने भवानीपुर में हिंसा के मामले में रिपोर्ट तलब की है. हिंसा की शिकायत को लेकर बीजेपी के प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने चुनाव आयोग से मुलाकात की थी. हमले के सबूत भी सौंपे गए थे. इसके बाद रिपोर्ट दिल्ली भेजी गई थी. दरअसल, 30 सितंबर को भवानीपुर सीट पर उपचुनाव होने हैं और इस सीट से मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी प्रत्याशी हैं. बीजेपी के राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष दिलीप घोष ने भवानीपुर उपचुनाव स्थगित कराने की मांग की है. उन्होंने टीएमसी कार्यकर्ताओं पर गुंडागर्दी का आरोप लगाया. दिलीप घोष ने कहा कि भवानीपुर में चुनाव प्रचार के दौरान टीएमसी कार्यकर्ताओं ने उनपर हमला किया. दिपील घोष ने कहा कि अगर चुनाव प्रचार ही नहीं कर सकते तो उपचुनाव रद्द किया जाए. देखिए खबरें सुपरफास्ट.
